Brookfield Place is such a beautiful spot! The architecture is stunning, with wide open spaces, natural light, and amazing views by the waterfront. It feels both modern and relaxing at the same time. The shopping options are excellent—lots of high-end stores, but also a good mix of places to browse and enjoy. There are plenty of great restaurants and cafes inside too, making it easy to spend a whole afternoon here. Overall, it’s not just a shopping center, but also a really nice place to walk around, relax, and enjoy the scenery. A must-visit in New York!

Love the area. Seems similar to the world trade center prior to 9/11. Views outside are stunning. You will see cruiseships, statue of liberty, boats and so much more. Also there are outside eaters too! Lovely garden area! The food court has nice coffee shops as well.

New favorite place to walk around indoors on cold winter days! There is so much natural lighting and tons of seating on both levels. I came here just to do some work and it was so nice. I walked around the whole place first and it's mostly higher end stores but they also have a really nice food court area with some delicious options. I'd recommend checking this place out to do some shopping, grab a bite to eat, or just people watch!

Brookfield Place is one of those spots in Manhattan that pleasantly surprises you, especially if it’s your first time visiting. Located right across from the World Trade Center, it’s much more than just a shopping mall, it’s an experience in itself. What stood out to me the most was the abundance of natural light flooding the space. The high glass ceilings, clean lines, and modern architecture create an open, airy atmosphere that feels both elegant and relaxing. Add in the waterfront views of the Hudson, and it becomes a perfect place to slow down for a moment in the middle of the city. I didn’t come here with the intention of shopping, but rather to take in the space, walk around, and enjoy the design, and it absolutely delivered. It’s a great place to unwind, people-watch, or simply appreciate how well the space is put together. Definitely a spot I’ll be returning to on future visits.

Are we really in New York !? Beautiful and gorgeous commercial center near the coast, with a beautiful view on the water ! Very luxurious, clean and well maintained. It has an air of Dubai or some exotic mall but right in the heart of the US ! Great place to walk around and enjoy the place and eat something !

Spent the afternoon at Brookfield Place — one of the nicest spots in Lower Manhattan to just stroll, shop, and unwind by the Hudson. Love that lululemon is here, and apparently Alo Yoga is opening soon too 👀 Perfect combo for activewear lovers. Then ended the day with classic NYC comfort food at P.J. Clarke’s — burgers, waterfront vibes, and that old-school New York atmosphere just hits different.

Beautiful place. Two floors with some really expensive shops and restaurants. Lots of seating space and you can bring your dogs inside. Nice there is an underground connector to the Oculus and subways and Path. Back doors lead to the Hudson River walkway. Lots of security, felt very safe.

Brookfield Place is one of those places I’ve developed a real appreciation for because I work right nearby and end up walking through or around it pretty regularly. Over time it’s become more than just a shopping and office complex—it feels like part of the rhythm of Lower Manhattan. What stands out immediately is the architecture and openness of the space. The winter garden still feels impressive every time I walk through it, with the tall palms, natural light, and waterfront setting creating an atmosphere that somehow feels calmer than the surrounding financial district. As of June 2026, there’s a major renovation effort going on in parts of the area, and while construction is never ideal, it’s actually encouraging to see continued investment being made here. This part of Manhattan has changed dramatically over the years, and seeing ongoing improvements makes it feel like the neighborhood is continuing to evolve rather than standing still. Even with construction activity, the area remains accessible and enjoyable. There’s also a really nice balance here between office workers, tourists, people grabbing lunch, and locals using the waterfront. It never feels exclusively corporate. One of my favorite things is simply taking a lunch break and walking outside along the river. You get views across the Hudson, places to sit, and a chance to decompress before heading back to work. Overall, Brookfield Place feels polished without being sterile—part public space, part destination, part neighborhood hub. Easy five stars.

As a tourist, I know Brookfield Place isn’t usually considered a must-see attraction, but I absolutely loved it. The complex itself is impressive and honestly blew my mind. The architecture, open spaces, and overall atmosphere make it worth a visit even if you’re not there to shop. One of my favorite parts was the stunning stained-glass-style art installation. From what I learned, it seems to be a temporary or rotating art display, with different artists creating new interventions over time. It adds a unique and vibrant touch to the space and makes each visit feel special. A beautiful place to walk around, admire the architecture, and enjoy some unexpected art in the middle of the city. Highly recommended!

Brookfield Place feels like my spot because it has everything I need in one place. I am always there meeting friends, getting food, walking around, and finding a quiet moment to sit. I love that it has the food hall with so many choices, the nice restaurants upstairs, and the little places where you can grab something quick. The stores are fun to browse and the whole space feels bright and clean. I like sitting by the windows and looking at the water because it gives me a break from the city. It is a place that feels familiar and comfortable, and I always end up staying longer than I planned.
